SGF has recruited a major player in the convenience store sector into membership – Booker’s award winning symbol group, Premier.
Premier is one of the leading symbol groups in the UK with over 250 stores in Scotland. Each store is independently owned by retailers who are at the heart of the communities they serve. Joining SGF will ensure Premier has representation for their stores north of the border to ensure greater understanding of the Scottish consumer.
Ken Ivatt, Regional Director for Scotland, said: “I am delighted that Premier has joined the SGF. It is dedicated to helping independent retailers by providing them with a voice on the issues that are important to them. I’m sure all Premier members will see the benefit of joining and I look forward to working with the SGF.
John Drummond, Chief Executive of the SGF said,
“I am delighted to welcome Booker Premier into membership. Booker Premier is an important player in the convenience store sector in Scotland and their joining SGF will strengthen our voice to the Scottish Government.
“Premier is the latest in a growing membership which establishes SGF as the voice of the convenience store sector in Scotland.”
